[Murray has found himself outside a lot lately, in the cold and the snow, but now it's time to take advantage of it. He is currently sitting on top of the fountain, soaked and icy. He has some little icicles forming in his eye sockets and at the back of his skull. Despite his icy situation, he seems diabolically cheery, calling out to random people passing by.]

Beware my frozen sockets of doom! This land will be smothered in the winters of death! Beware! Turn back! Turn back! Before the frozen depths of hell envelop you! [And other such threatening comments.]

"Oi! Murray!" Jack is mostly ignoring all mention of frozen sockets of doom. He has a proposition for the pirate-y skull and so is hurrying over.

[Eggman happens to be passing the fountain this fine winter's day, just on his way to the shop. Until he hears that voice calling out to him.

He should be terrified. But there's just something so fundamentally un-scary about the voice. He looks around for the source of it. There doesn't appear to be anyone around.]

[Reiko is passing, carrying a broom and still looking for whoever stole her Book of Friends. And the she comes across this thing.

Show yourself! [Eggman looks around more, finally spotting a semi-frozen Murray on the fountain.]

Oh ho ho! [Eggman clutches his large stomach and laughs.] My worst nightmare doesn't involve a talking skull! But how are you doing that?

Bwa ha ha ha! You must pay tribute to me! If you dare move forward without it, you'll be overcome in a fiery-er, uh, frozen blanket of wrath!

As fate and luck would have it, we do. I've had an idea, mate. And I'm wondering if you'll hear me out.

Talking through that skull like that! I assume you wired it to your journal, or else you constructed a complex wireless communications system. But that's unlikely!
