[action] The Frozen Depths of Hell!

[Murray has found himself outside a lot lately, in the cold and the snow, but now it's time to take advantage of it. He is currently sitting on top of the fountain, soaked and icy. He has some little icicles forming in his eye sockets and at the back of his skull. Despite his icy situation, he seems diabolically cheery, calling out to random people passing by.]

Beware my frozen sockets of doom! This land will be smothered in the winters of death! Beware! Turn back! Turn back! Before the frozen depths of hell envelop you! [And other such threatening comments.]

Not bad! [...she smiles.] But I've seen much scarier things.

Really? Let's hear it then!

[Reiko considers for a moment... and then begins in her most dramatic voice.]

Far away from here, there's a land filled with monsters. In the forests, in closets, under the bed... Anywhere you look, there could be a monster! Most people can't see them, of course. But that just means these things are always lurking around you. And if you can see them... well.

[her smile becomes eerie.] That's a terrifying fate.

What are they? What happens to the poor fools who see them? [He sounds excited.]

Some want to play tricks on humans. Others just want to eat them. And the monsters come in all sizes - they look like people, or like animals. Some are as big as mountains, with sharp, jagged teeth...

But the scariest monster of all is actually very small!

Small? Ha! Size means nothing! [He's not biased at all at his small sise, oh no.] What is this tiny terror?

It can be seen by both people and monsters. Both are terrified, though, because of the stories.

[she smirks.] They say it brings disaster. Anyone who meets it will meet terrible misfortune. Even now, it roams the world, looking for unsuspecting monsters to play games with.

But what is it?

Do you really want to know?

Any time it meets a monster, it challenges them to a game. Either fighting, or other games, it doesn't matter. Of course most of the monsters accept because it doesn't look all that big or dangerous. But it has never lost a match, ever. And when each match is done, it says. "Give me your name!"

But if they refuse...
