Those nearby may hear the echoes of a low and gravelly voice.] And so it was...And thus did darkness fall...Terror rained down upon the land...

[A low chuckle.] Do you dare hear the terrible tale?

It's a terrifying tale of a mighty demonic force of horrific evil! [The voice seems to be coming from a shelf on her side.] He wreaks havoc across the country side spreading misery and terror.

[She starts towards the shelf...]

Leo's not going to say anything just yet though, but he'll stick his head into this horror section (the lighting really is terrible in this part of the library, maybe they should get more of those newfangled electricity lights in here) to look for the mysterious narrator.

Possibly to, you know, ask whoever it is to quieten down.]

[There isn't anyone standing or sitting in the aisle between shelves, but there is a voice muttering to itself.] No..no, not scary enough...more blood...terror...

[What is this, interactive reading time? ...from thin air?

He glances up at the ceiling (perhaps there's someone who finds it preferable to lounge on top of bookshelves, it takes all types to make a world...or rather, to make Luceti), but there's nothing there. Maybe someone hiding in the shadows.

He's going to have to take a further gander into this aisle of bloody terror, clearly.]

[All power of resistance fades as Leo comes close to his shelf and the voice yells from his side.] BOO! BWA HA HA!

[It so happened that Reiko was checking out the collection today. That voice is more interesting than the books, though.]

I didn't know evil pirate skulls liked to read.

[ someone's in the library researching...well. spells. spells of an enchantment-ending sort, in preparation for possibly going home during the next shift with a particular pirate.

[Aah, another victim. No, no, not victim, audience member, right.]

Come close, if you want to hear a truly harrowing tale! [It starts ominous, but he can't quite stop a small cackle at the end.]

I dunno, buster...[ she turns slowly. trying to listen for the voice's source. ] Takes a lot to harrow me.

You still have to hear my tales. [The voice is coming from within the library one of the shelves of the horror section.]

[Rei is poking around in the library today, her first time in actually. She's looking through the books on supernatural things, which of course isn't too far from the Horror section, though when she hears this voice...she can't help but investigate.

Her senses tingle a little bit...but not much. The idea of evil being here, in the library...she can't allow it. Even if its just a LITTLE bit of evil]

Come out of there, whatever you are.

I cannot, but you may approach. [Just add a good heavy dose of mystery to that voice.]

[Action] (SORRY MURRAY I HAVE TO!)

[Cautiously, Rei will approach...and STARE at the masked...head on the shelf. Her evil-senses...tingle just a bit. Could this actually BE the darkness she'd felt?]

EVIL! I BIND YOU!

[With that, she pulls out an ofuda scroll and smacks it right on the mask's forehead]

[Action] Mystery RUINED lol

[All mystery gone from his voice as he yells out in a rather offended tone and he rocks back a bit from the force of her smacking.] H-hey! What are you doing?

[asquiet]

[Nezumi loves visiting the library, but hearing disembodied voices isn't something he's liking. He turns his ear out and waits to see if anything will happen before he realizes it won't. He has a knife on him and his hand goes to where it is through his pants.]

Am I having a plague be put upon me?

Only a plague of horror! [The voice is coming from one of the shelves.]

[He's got a pretty good sense of hearing and he starts to walk closer to the shelves.] Will my apartment be swarmed with frogs or something more horrifying?
