[Murray has found himself outside a lot lately, in the cold and the snow, but now it's time to take advantage of it. He is currently sitting on top of the fountain, soaked and icy. He has some little icicles forming in his eye sockets and at the back of his skull. Despite his icy situation, he seems diabolically cheery, calling out to random people passing by.]

Beware my frozen sockets of doom! This land will be smothered in the winters of death! Beware! Turn back! Turn back! Before the frozen depths of hell envelop you! [And other such threatening comments.]

[ Another nod, this time accompanied by a smirk. The skull may not be scary, but he's entertaining. ]

Took ya long enough.

[He sighs.] Isn't there anyone here who knows enough to be scared of a talking skull? One of the walking dead-sitting dead!

It's the fact that you're a talkin' skull that makes you not scary. And your personality.

You mortals are strange. [No comment on the personality.]

[ He pauses; he's not exactly "mortal," not anymore. Still, he probably shouldn't bring that up. ]

You ain't exactly one to talk.

Maybe but it's expected, useful even! [Theoretically speaking anyway.]

Bein' a skull? How? You land a job as a carnival prop or somethin'?

I was a prize once!

[ What kind of a place gives out talking skulls as a reward?]

It's true. I was the best prize at the Carnival of the Damned!

"Carnival of the Damned"? Sounds fun.

Mostly boring. [Being a prize, an unclaimed prize is not the most thrilling of activities.]

Anybody ever win you?

[ He's certain that someone did, and that something terrible happened to them because of it. That's how stories like this always seem to go. ]

Yes, somebody did. [He sounds oddly bitter.] Or could have if he hadn't chosen that stupid anchor.

[ He fails to fully stifle a chuckle. ]

Clearly too frightened to take me. [He sounds disgruntled.]

Obviously. Nothin' to do with the fact that havin' a skull lyin' around is sorta useless.

Useless? I'm more useful than you could ever imagine! [He sounds angry, but there's a definite tone of sulkiness as well.]

[ If Firo was a little nicer and less foolish, he might feel sorry for him. As it is, he's having too much fun mocking the skull. ]

I'm sure you could make a good blunt weapon or somethin'.

Why don't we test it and you pick me up? [His teeth seems to clack a little more than normal.]
