A Long Awaited Reunion [Action/Voice/Video]

[Murray has found himself back in the Item Shop, where to his delight he's come across a familiar though old skeletal arm, still covered in a layer of now dried paste. Anyone nearby or over the journal may see a skull sitting beside the arm exclaiming loudly.]

My arm! At last! Enemies beware, for Murray, the mighty demonic skull is no longer one mere skull, but has limbs again! ...one limb! Again! The powers of torment are once more within my grasp! BWAHAHAHA!!!

[Muttered] Still a bit pasty. Ergh.

[For all of Sabriel's experience dealing with the Dead of her world she's never actually seen just...a sun bleached skull speaking like that. It's a little unnerving to see things very visibly Dead talking as if they were alive. In any case, talk of 'torment' have Sabriel frowning as she opens her journal to respond.]

And what exactly do you plan to do now that you have one limb?

[Rei hears a familiar voice coming from a journal in the living room and wanders into view, smiling. She'd heard the exchange with Murray and Sabriel and felt the urge to speak up.]

Ah, hello Murray-san! You found your arm? Too bad you don't have a torso to attach it to.

[and she sits down next to Sabriel with a joking look in her eye]

Sabriel-chan, Murray-san is completely harmless. I tried using ofuda on him once, and it didn't work. He's not even evil, he's just a talking skull.

Isn't that right, Murray-san?

More than a mere talking skull now!

[If only he could pick up his arm! Wave a fist! Do. Something. He does glower ferociously.]

[Sabriel blinks, glancing up at her friend as she settles beside her. As soon as she catches that teasing gleam in the young woman's eyes she relaxes. Ever since the Apep incident she had been a little jumpy regarding things like this but...come to think of it, hadn't Luke mentioned a talking skull to her when she first arrived?

At the skull's indignant response she can't help but smile a little, sharing another glance with Rei.]

Ah, is that so? I have to hand it to you Rei, without your intervention I would not have found him so disarming.

[And Wheatley just casually rolls out from behind something on the shelf.]

Oh, wow, brilliant, you found an arm! What box are those kept in? Could do with a few myself, as it happens.

[The Forgemaster happens to overhear while poking through the shop in his hunt for materials he could then use in his alchemical experiments, and he glances towards the source of the words, cracking a grin. He had seen all manners of skeletons and skulls back home in the castle - they were among the lowest rank of creature in Dracula's army - but few of which had the power of speech.]

You mean this? [He asks, pleasantly, wearing an expression of exaggerated innocence. He gestures to the bony arm with his upturned palm.]

[He's leaning a bit protectively over it.]

[He takes hold of it and hefts it, wondering if this lone limb could move independently.]

'twill make a fine tool with which to scratch itches that are most difficult to reach. Between the shoulderblades, to name one... but you wouldn't know, would you?
